Maou Episode 1

Maou is about a two-faced lawyer who seeks for revenge of his brother’s death and a detective who is pursuing to solve a mysterious series of murders and fighting against the devil.

Naruse Ryo is popular lawyer who’s doing some revenge for the person who killed his brother. Serizawa Naoto is a detective who loves to harass the criminals.

Super duper short SUMMARY

The highschool friend of Serizawa, Souda, was arrested that’s when Serizawa met Naruse. Naruse shows up as the lawyer of Souda. After this, Naruse went to the library and met this psychometry girl, Sakita Shiori, who can see the past of an object and uses tarot cards. Serizawa received a package with a tarot card of Judgment, mailed by Amano Makoto.

A murder has happened, Kumada was killed. Kumada, is a lawyer who is close with the Serizawa family and the lawyer of the person whose behind of the death of Naruse’s brother. The only evidence that they have is the knife and tarot card, the same as the tarot card received by Serizawa, which also mailed by the mysterious Amano Makoto. This time, Serizawa met Shiori, where they seek help to know who killed Kumada. Unfortunately, Shiori just saw the event but not the face of the murderer.

The police team had concluded that the suspect was Hayashi Kunio. After the meeting, Naruse appears with the suspect. Takatsuka Kaoru found alot of red envelope with a letter in Hayashi’s apartment. Serizawa went to Shiori to ask for the person who gave the letter to Hayashi and again, Shiori, didn’t see the face of the person.

At Kumada’s residence (i think?) Naruse was walking when Kumada’s son attacked Naruse (YEY for NINO! ~sweet) Kumada’s son threatened Naruse (something like that) and left him. While at Kumada’s house, Serizawa and the others along with the suspect are doing the reenactment of the death of Kumada. Then Naruse suddenly appears, Serizawa stopped him but the chief let Naruse in. Serizawa was the one who acting as the victim. Doing the reenactment, the story became more clear, Serizawa remembers everything happened when he was in highschool. He was the one who killed Naruse’s little brother. That’s why Naruse was after him. Aftermath, Naruse was looking at the pictures (Serizawa, Souda, Ishimoto and I don’t know who’s the other guy) and I think his next victim would be Serizawa’s father. I think.

~I’am getting addicted to Maou though I have read some comments that Mawang was better. I’ve only watched Mawang once or twice on KBS. Still, Maou is love! This was the first leading role of Ohno Satoshi and he’s so great. He’s a bit scary on his role and gives me creeps which is a good thing because that’s what he’s role should be. I can see that Ohno can act well and the Producer gave the role of Naruse to a right person. I saw Ohno smiled once and he’s a cutie! wiiiiiiiii~

Ikuta Toma, all he did at the earlier scenes was to run and to run. This is not the Toma we see alot, the sunny shinny smiling face Ikuta Toma, but a total different Ikuta Toma. Toma reminds me of MatsuJun as Domyouji as he acts as Serizawa. Overracting? Yes but he can carry it well though I am not used to see Toma gloomy and dark.

Kobayashi Ryoko, the girl with a cute big eyes who played Sakita Shiori. At first I didn’t find her beautiful but at the later part of the episode I changed my mind and found her cute. Though I like Shin Min-ah than Ryoko.

There’s this girl reminds me of someone, Uehara Misa who played the role as Takatsuka Kaoru. While watching the dorama, my minds keep on recalling this girl. And I found out she was the girl who act as Tagaya Saiko in Nodame Cantabile.

Ninomiya Kazunari was on this Episode as the son of Kumada. ~sweet! :D

I’ll be looking forward for the next episode. I wish tht I would not get bored and continue this till the end.
