Itazura na Kiss Episode 13: Koi no piriodo

Kotoko has not yet gave her answer to Kinnosuke’s proposal. It’s already past 12 and Naoki hasn’t come back home yet. When he arrived he was scolded by his mom and told him that he doesn’t need to sacrifice himself for the company’s sake. And he replied to his mom that he’s not doing this because of the company but he likes Christine. Kotoko overheard the conversation and made her heartbroken. She tried to run and hide but unfornutaley, Naoki still saw her. He told her that Kinchan and Kotoko are getting along well. She said that,  Kinchan is funny and kind unlike someone who always say mean things.

Kotoko told her friends that Kin-chan proposed to her. Her friends told her that she more of a match to Kinnosuke than to Naoki. Where infact Naoki has a girlfriend and adding the one sided love affair. And Kinnosuke have loved her for 5 years already.

Kotoko is been absent-minded which made her bump into someone. She dropped her things, Christine suddenly appeared and picked up her things. She asked Christine why she’s in their school. Christine told her that she asked Naoki to bring her there. Christine asked Kotoko to have lunch with them, helplessly heartbroken, she agreed.

In the cafeteria they saw Kinnosuke. Kinnosuke asked Kotoko about the proposal but Kotoko answered about Christine being an amazing girl. While eating, Naoki mentioned bringing Christine to home. Kotoko was shocked not only because of Naoki bringing Christine to their house but also Christine knowing that Kotoko also lives there.

At home, Naoki introduced Christine to Yuuki and to his mom. Naoki’s mom tried to insinuate that both Chris and Naoki don’t know each other very well. She tried to dissuade Christine by telling some of negative attitude of Naoki. Almost of it were done by Naoki to Kotoko.

Naoki confronted her mother. Her mother told Naoki that he was being selfish. Naoki told him that hr mother was the selfish one for wanting him to love Kotoko. Kotoko tries to interfere and told them that it’s ok for her.

Kotoko received a call from Kinnosuke asking him to taste his improved dish.

At Naoki/Yuuki’s room, Yuuki asked his brother if he’s really going to marry Christine. Naoki answerd that he will marry Chris and pointing out, that Yuuki wants a beautiful sister. Yuuki interrupted him by saying, “But, whom you really like is…”. and then Naoki interuppted him saying that Christine will teach Yuuki English.

Kotoko asked her father  if it’s ok to him that she’ll marry Kinnosuke. Her father was shocked and told her that Kinnosukeis is a good person and tries to focus on his dished which can make him his successor but Kotoko’s feeling was more important to him. And he told Kotoko that they must leave the house especially with the situation now. Kotoko had decided to give up her love for Naoki.

At the hospital, Naoki’s mom was talking about Naoki for not liking Kotoko. Naoki’s father was agreeing that they can never dissuade Naoki in anything he likes which made Naoki’s mom more furious. Then Yuuki interrupted that the one Naoki like was Kotoko. Yuuki flashesback.

 

[Episode11] Yuuki saw Kotoko sleeping and tried to tease her by putting a caterpillar on her. Accidentally he saw his brother kissing Kotoko on her lips. Naoki saw that Yuuki had witnessed what he did he told Yuuki to be quiet by doing the “sssssssh pose”. Yuuki concluded that Naoki likes Kotoko.

Naoki went to the tennis field. Matsumoto and Naoki chitchat a bit and Matsumoto told him that she likes Kotoko more than Christine as a rival. Kotoko’s friend appeared and told Naoki about Kinnosuke’s marriage proposal to Kotoko and Kotoko went to Kinnosuke and skipped the club meeting. They continued talking when suddenly Naoki disappeared.

At the restaurant, Kotoko was eating Kinnosuke’s made dish speacially made for Kotoko. Kinnosuke asked for Kotoko’s answer to his proposal. Kotoko said to give her more time to thinks about it which made Kinnosuke angry and blames Naoki. Kinnosuke tries to hug Kotoko, Kotoko resisted and shouted Irie’s name. Pushing him away fom her. They were both shocked and surprised on what happened. Kinnosuke looked helpless and heartbroken. Kotoko step back and said “I’m sorry” to Kinnosuke and left Kinnosuke crying.

 

Kotoko walks home and talking to herself that she will never loved no one except for Naoki. She decided to be single forever and carry Naoki’s picture in her heart. Then suddenly Naoki appeared infront of her, looking at her.

~t’s getting more interesting. I remember this scene in the Taiwanese drama, It started with a kiss, this was the part where Joe Cheng confessed her love for Ariel Lin. I am really excited for the next episode! Poor Kinnosuke, I really pity him. Christine, I really hate her.

Episode 11, I really thought that Yuuki is the one who kissed Kotoko so that means Kotoko’s dream that time was really true she was kissed by Naoki!

New ending song! I really like the new song entitled “Jikan yo tomare” by Azu featuring SEAMO. It suits the atmosphere of the episode. I am really looking forward for the next episode.
